Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows: Erosion Control Clearing and grading Remove Structures and Obstructions Construct Soldier Pile Tie Back Wall Construct Cast-in-Place Barrier and Barrier Moment Slab Construct Storm Improvements Install new Watermain Construct Curb and Gutter Grind and Overlay Channelization Landscaping and Irrigation Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work. BID BOND REQUIRED: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid. Checks shall be made payable to the City Treasurer. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Bellevue. An Disadvantaged Business :Enterprise (DBE) Condition of Award (COA) goal of 14% has been established for this contract. For DBE Documentation requirements, see Section 1-02,9 of the Special Provisions. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof, The successful bidder must comply with the City of Bellevue equal opportunity requirements.
