**As of February 9, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award will be March 2022. The services may begin in March 2022. The work includes approximately 19,000 linear feet of milling and overlay work on 13 roads in the Town of Salem, New Hampshire. The project also includes sidewalk expansion and reconstruction with supplemental drainage along Pleasant Street. The project will further include small quantities of road patching, gravel work, curbing, ditch work, drainage, casting adjustments/replacements, hydrant relocation, and landscaping work. Documents may be examined, but not obtained, at the Engineering Department, Town Hall, 33 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH 03079, at Associated General Contractors, 48 Grandview Road, Bow, NH 03304 or at Construction Summary of NH, Inc. 734 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH, 03104. Each bid must be accompanied by BID SECURITY, payable to the Town of Salem, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, which BID SECURITY must be in a form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Construction Performance Bond, 100 percent Construction Payment Bond and a $25,000 Warranty Bond. Each bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form supplied by the Town of Salem in a sealed envelope clearly identified with the Bidder's name and address marked. The Schedule of Prices section of the Proposal Form shall be completed showing the Unit Price and Total Price for each item, and a Grand Total for all items. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technical or legal deficiencies that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. Substantial contract completion date shall be August 5, 2022. Contract Final Completion date shall be September 1, 2022. No bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of 90 calendar days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids.
