The Agawam Public Library Chiller Replacement Estimated Cost $180,000 Work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. ELECTRICAL, SEC 08 00 00: a. Make safe, and disconnect existing power to the existing exterior chillers. Remove disconnects and associated wiring and accessories as required back to interior switchgear in Library Electric Room at panel as per plans and specifications. b. Test & verify condition of existing conductors & conduit from panel to units. Re-use unless fauls found and approved by Director of Building Maintenance. c. Furnish and install new disconnects, accessories, and all required equipment, and re-connect to new chillers from switch gear within the Library electric room panel as per the plans and specifications. d. Test and verify with the HVAC contractor. e. All contractors shall work in harmony with all other trades. 2. HVAC SEC. 23 00 00: a. Make safe, disconnect, remove and legally dispose of the existing exterior chillers, chilled water piping, exterior pipe insulation, controls and all other accessories associated with the existing chillers as shown on the plans and specifications. b. Remove all existing tie-downs and existing attachments for the old chillers from the area and concrete pads. c. Furnish and install new tie-downs and hardware as per the manufacturer's written instructions for attachment to the existing pads provided by the Town of Agawam. d. Furnish and install new chillers, chilled water piping, exterior pipe insulation and all other accessories associated with the new chillers as shown on the plans and specifications, manufacturer's written instructions and as required for operation of the chillers on the existing pads. e. Electrical connections will be completed by Section 26 00 00 - ELECTRICAL. f. Additional controls shall be completed by Siemens Controls under a separate contract. g. All contractors shall work in harmony with all other trades. h. All other connections shall be part of this Section 23 00 00 HVAC Contractor's responsibility
