The Town of Hooksett is seeking a proposal for embankment modifications for a portion of Martins Ferry Road adjacent to Messier Brook. The Project is located on the southern side of Martins Ferry Road from the intersection of North River Road to approximately 200-feet to the east. The Town of Hooksett will be requesting bids for: The Martins Ferry Road Embankment Modifications Project in accordance with the Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications prepared by Sanborn Head & Associates, Inc., dated November 2021, and last revised December 2021 . The Project includes but not limited to, providing traffic controls, removing vegetation from the embankment, constructing riprap-lined stormwater conveyance swales, removing, salvaging, and re-installing the guard rail, restoring the embankment facing in select areas, constructing a crushed stone leveling pad and capstone along the top of the embankment, constructing a bituminous concrete curb, and installing shotcrete on the face of the embankment.
