Scope of Work: Renovation of 29,157 sf of existing bldg. Build out of 3,770 sf of new construction on level 2 of existing bldg. Square Footage: 32,927 ft 2 _________________________________________________________________________________________ Early release package for renovation work at Richardson ISD's 616 Sherman Street property. This package consists of Roofing, Elevator and HVAC scopes of work.The remaining trades will be bid at a later date This Geotechnical Evaluation Report addresses the design and construction of the proposed renovations and additions planned at the 616 Sherman Street building in south-central Richardson, Texas. We understand the project will include the renovation of an existing two-story building. The renovation will include a new elevator and entry improvements (ramps, entry canopy, etc.). The elevator location has not been determined but may be on the interior where drilled piers for pit support may not be feasible.Representative drilled shaft dead loads are anticipated to vary from 10 to 35 kips and representative drilled shaft live loads are anticipated to vary from 5 to 20 kips. It is desired to use soil supported floor slabs with differential and total slab movement criteria of 1/2 and 1 inch respectively.
