This Open Term Bid is for a contract for license plate aluminum sheeting. This bid may result in multiple contracts not to exceed a total of three (3) awardees; however, the awards will only be given to vendors that can provide both products. In lieu of a pre-bid conference, questions will be allowed until 12/30/2021, at 5:00 PM. All sheeting orders must comply with the submitted specifications of this bid for the term of the contract. Any changes to the specifications will not be allowed unless previously requested and approved by the State of Nevada using agency. It is anticipated that orders will be placed approximately two (2) times per year. At the time of order placement, all awarded vendors shall be requested to submit in writing the approximate delivery time and current pricing at the time of the order. Any resultant award(s) shall be for a two (2) year open term contract with an option to extend yearly. Samples are required. Bids received without the appropriate samples will be deemed unresponsive. No exceptions to this requirement will be allowed. The samples are required on or before the bid opening date, January 13, 2022. Each bidder must submit a 100' coil roll of aluminum sheeting meeting the criteria within this bid. The sample must be properly labeled with the name of the manufacturer, alloy, gauge, strength and any other characteristic that would benefit the testing and analysis. Samples that do not meet the specifications or production testing may result in rejection of the bid.
