The City of Fife requests statement of qualifications from engineering consultants to prepare plans, specifications, and estimate required for the following project. There is no mandatory DBE goal assigned for this design consultant agreement. The Citywide Flashing Yellow Arrows project includes associated ADA and utility work, pavement marking removal, and sign/post removal, relocation or replacement as needed. Improvements at six intersections with designated left turn lanes, upgrade signal heads to flashing yellow arrow treatment at the following intersections: Pacific Highway E & Fife Police Station Road (north-south only), Pacific Highway E & Willow Road E (north-south only), Pacific Highway E & 51st Ave E (east-west only), 54th Ave E & 12th St E (east-west only), 54th Ave E & 23rd St E (southbound only), 54th Ave E & Valley Ave E (all directions). Selection of the firms for interview will be based on the applicant's submitted material describing: Key personnel and experience with preparing PS&E for municipal projects. Demonstrated knowledge of federal funding audits and EEO requirements. Approach to the project and ability to meet schedule. Familiarity with City of Fife standards and procedures Familiarity with Local Agency Guidelines (LAG) Manual requirements. Approach to meet DBE goal (DBE Participation Plan).
