The Grand Forks Public School District requests Statements of Qualifications to provide Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) services for the new Career Impact Academy project in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The total project cost is currently budgeted at $20 million. Upon grant approval, the overall project is expected to be completed before August of 2024. The School District is also interested in exploring opportunities to have the facility operational for all or a portion of the 2023 school year. The selected CMAR will participate in schematic design with the School District and JLG Architects and will provide estimating services and construction recommendations prior to construction as well as the administration and procurement of construction sub-contractors throughout the project subject to School District approval. Construction Commencement - April, 2023 Substantial Completion - July, 2024 Grand Forks Public Schools (GFPS), in partnership with regional industry partners, school districts, higher-education and post-secondary institutions, and the City of Grand Forks and Grand Forks County, is planning a new 57,000 square foot CTE facility at the site of the former Holiday Inn in Grand Forks. This facility is called the Career Impact Academy and is a facility that will provide Career and Technical Education/Curriculum for regional students as well as training and classes for regional employees, amongst other endeavors.
