Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier s check in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total bid. Bidders for this project are required to hold a current Certificate of Prequalification issued by the Volusia County School Board at the time of bid opening. The School Board reserves the right to reject any one or more bids as provided by law. All bids shall be binding for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of bid opening or until School Board approval of the bid, whichever occurs first. The bid amount of the successful bidder, once approved by the School Board, shall not be subject to change or withdrawal. If you have any questions or wish to prequalify, contact Facilities Services, 3750 Olson Drive, Daytona Beach, Florida 32124; telephone (386) 947-8786. - Existing site lighting pole fixtures and poles are to be replaced with new direct burial aluminum poles and new LED fixtures. - Remove trees from parking lot islands damaging the parking surface as indicated on drawings. - Remove/grind stumps and roots to level islands in parking lots. - Add new direct burial poles and LED fixtures in a few locations to supplement current lighting in parking lot and add pedestrian poles and fixtures along walkways to sports fields. - Replace lighting controls to all parking lot lighting. - Provide landscape repairs and new landscape as indicated.
