Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The Project cost estimate is $10,001 - $50,000. Anchorage Pioneer Home Kitchen Drains Replacement Project No. ANC 22-33C Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids, in a single copy, to: provide all labor, supervision, permits, and materials to; Remove and replace with new the existing kitchen floor drain assemblies and piping penetrations in the floor with patching of the concrete, heat-welded flooring and ceilings below as required. This project is to reestablish a 100% watertight floor. Please note this concrete slab is post-tensioned and no cutting or drilling is allowed without X-Rays and written approval by the Project Manager. See attached document for additional information. Not acknowledging the addenda at the time of bid will deem the Bidder non-responsive. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Provide all labor, supervision, permits and materials to remove and reinstall, complete, in a watertight fashion including the flooring patch with same heat welded type material to create a continuous waterproof installation preventing water from traveling from the kitchen to the tenant spaces below. o The existing floor penetrations to be replaced are listed below. The penetrations are to be replaced with new premium cast iron units having a mounting flange and solid brass or SS grates. New installed drains to be fully supported by structure, factory or custom fabricated and painted, any void between the drain body and the surrounding floor to be formed in a professional workmanship manner and filled with a grout/resin. Additionally, the "floor sink" drain receptacle for the dishwasher to be replaced along with the pipes passing through the floor adjacent to the 3-compartment sink needing to be properly sleeved through the floor with support and the voids being filled for a complete and watertight installation. o Listed below is a schedule of drains and penetrations to be reconstructed. Each drain receptacle to be individually approved in writing by the Project Manager or designated representative, no exceptions. o One dish room floor drain under the 3-compartment sink. Zurn ZN415-3NH-5B or approved equal. o One dish room floor drain 5' in front of the 3-compartment sink. Zurn ZN415-3NH-5B or approved equal. o Three dish room vertical pipes penetrating the floor adjacent to the 3-compartment sink. o One dish room dishwasher drain "sink" receptacle. Zurn Z1900-3NH-2-K or approved equal. o The concrete floor slab is post tensioned and no cutting or drilling allowed without X-Ray and written approval by the project Manager. o Remove and replace the existing "grease trap" with new manufactured by Schier Products model GB 2 or alternate that must be approved in writing by the Project manager or appointed representative. Floor anchoring and a pump out to be provided. o All penetrations through the concrete floor to be reconnected to existing pipes however a minimum of 3 feet of new DWV piping to be used to reconnect. Access is from below through hard lids or SAT to be patched to match existing. o Sealants to be premium polyurethane based or equal. All sealants to be approved in writing by the Project manager or designated representative.
