Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sharonville, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of the design of a comple te replacement playground for the existing Sharon Centre Playground in order to offer an upgraded and all-inclusive play experience that will incorporate a theme reflective of the unique character and landscape of Sharon Woods. The new playground will be relocated from the existing playground location to a nearby site in order to provide ample area to expand playground amenities . The playground design will require the site engineering necessary to develop the new location. See the attached preliminary location plan. The existing playground is designated for 5-12 year olds. The new playground will accommodate 2-5 and 5-12 year olds and be de signed utilizing best practice for age group separation Letter of Interest submittals from consultants to provide professional design services for the Sharon Centre Playground project. The project location is in Sharon Woods at 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville, Ohio 45241. All consultants submitting a Letter of Interest shall register by providing the firm's name, address, and a contact name with phone number to Ben Helmes at bhelmes@greatparks.org by January 14, 2022 at 4 pm. The current anticipated budget for playground construction is $1,350,000. Additional grant or other funding may become available to supplement the project construction budget. January 24 - February 4 - Submittals reviewed and scored, top rated consultants contacted for interview. February 28 - March 11 - Interviews with selected consultants. March 14 - April 1 - Consultant selection, scope of service meeting, proposal submission and contract review. April 21, 2022 - Contract approval by Board of Park Commissioners. May 2, 2022 - GPHC issues notice to proceed. July 1, 2022 - Submit 2 conceptual plan alternatives. August 1 - September 2, 2022 - Virtual open house public comment period. October 28, 2022 - Submit design development based on the preferred alternative concept and public comment. December 30, 2022 - Submit 50% construction drawings and specifications. March 3, 2023 - Submit 90% construction drawings and specifications. April 7, 2023 - Submit final construction drawings, specifications, and all other required documents. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
