The Park Board of the Park District of Highland Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it shall deem it in the public interest to do so. In submitting a bid, Contractor acknowledges that Contractor must, to the extent that it applies, comply with all requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and all other applicable Illinois laws. Removal and salvaging the railing, removal of the damaged concrete, and replacing with formed concrete repair. o All damaged concrete, including delaminated, spalled, and cracked areas must be removed. o The railing will be removed and the bottom portion, where the rust is present, refurbished, and salvaged. o Modified railings must be reinstalled into the new formed concrete and reconnected. o The bottom of the rail posts will then be encased in concrete to help prevent future rusting of the rail Construction Timeline shall be as follows: April 13th, 2020 - May 15th, 2020
