Clarification Deadline 2/17/2022 11:00 AM The County is accepting bids for a Chimney and Fireplace for Whitehorse Community Park. All questions regarding the bid, specifications and process must be submitted via email or online. will complete the WORK within sixty (60) calendar days A. Build a masonry chimney on the existing shelter foundation at the center of the west gable end integral with the existing shelters foundation. B. Utilize concrete block (CMU) 6X8X16 with reinforcing bar or approved industry standard for chimney structure. C. Chimney shall penetrate the existing roof and include necessary waterproofing, flashing and integration with existing metal roof. D. Install owner-provided cultured stone veneer river rock to the chimney and the sides of the picnic shelters foundation. (SEE SUBMITTAL PACKET, ADDITIVE ALTERNATE 1) E. The drawings provided are to be used for scale and sizing only. Fireplace and Chimney construction shall be masonry. Disregard references to wood construction. F. On-Site restrooms are available for contractor use.
