Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with PORTABLE TOILETS and the name and address of the bidder. The successful bidder will be responsible for the following: Providing the chemical disinfectant toilets as specified Pumping, cleaning and disinfecting the toilets as specified All units must have hand sanitizers in them and each must be filled during each cleaning Removal of the toilets at any time during the period, within eight (8) hours of notice from the Town Repair any damage to the units upon identification or within twenty-four (24) hours of being reported by the Town Pumping the toilets on an on-call basis. An hourly rate shall be quoted for this service On call service requests must be addressed within one and a half (1 1/2) hours of the service call Providing proof of liability insurance of not less than Three-hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) and worker's compensation coverage, if applicable Units on site will be at the owner's risk All beach toilets must be serviced before 9:00am the morning of the scheduled service day All units must have a cleaning log in sheet; indicating date and time of service to the unit. Sheet must be completed each time the unit is serviced Bidder must have the company's main office within a forty-five (45) minute drive to the Kennebunk facilities with all toilet cleaning service vehicles at this site Any specification not meeting the required specs as listed above and in the Detailed Specifications, must have a reason indicated for not meeting the specification. Failure to list the exceptions will nullify the bid Failure to follow all aspects of the above and the specifications noted in the Detailed Specifications will result in the termination of your contract with the Town of Kennebunk. Each Bidder shall fully complete the attached bid form, sign off on the Invitation to Bid and the Detailed Specifications page. Failure to complete and submit the attached forms will be grounds for rejection of the bid. Faxed or emailed bids will NOT be accepted. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Town reserves the right to accept the bid most advantageous to the Town, not necessarily the lowest bid. Alternative quotations will be considered only when clearly explained. They will be considered only if the specifications are met and the alternatives are submitted as an alternative bid.
