The purpose of this solicitation is to establish an Open Agency Contract to procure (preventive maintenance) services for the bridge elevators located at the Sidney Lanier Bridge, Brunswick, GA and the Talmedge Bridge, Savannah, GA for the Georgia Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as The Department. Unless otherwise specified, the elevators in this solicitation have been identified, described and referenced by a "brand name" or trade name that is intended to be descriptive, and is used to indicate the quality and characteristics of product. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder(s), to understand the brand name and model or series number of the product for servicing. The Department intends to make a single award to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder meeting all specifications for the provision of the services herein but reserves the right to make multiple awards if deemed in the best interest of the State.
