Project no- 3-09738-20L 1,565 LinFt of 10" PVC gravity sewer line, 79 LinFt of 10" DIP gravity sewer line, 7 manholes (vented lid), 2 manholes (sealed lid), one (1) wye or tee and service reconnection, 25 LinFt of 16" or 18" x 0.250" open-cut steel encasement, 50 SqYd bituminous resurfacing, 10 Tons stone riprap (includes geotextile fabric), erosion control, seeding and mulching, and any additional miscellaneous appurtenant items. o 2,500 Tons Stone Riprap (200 Lbs.) Lagoon Levee Stabilization (includes Geotextile Fabric) o Two (2) Wastewater Flow Metering Arrangements at Existing Pump Stations (includes yard piping, valves and fittings, manhole and manhole steps, access cover, electrical work, and any additional miscellaneous appurtenant items) o One (1) Lagoon Influent Piping (DIP) Backflow Prevention Modifications. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the TOWN OF PLANTERSVILLE, marked on the outside as "BID FOR WASTEWATER FACILITIES IMPROVEMENTS, CDBG NO. 1137-20-301-PF-01." Any bid for a sum in excess of $50,000.00 shall contain on the outside or exterior of the envelope of such bid the contractor's current certificate of responsibility number, and no bid shall be opened or considered unless such contractor's current certificate number appears on the outside or exterior of the envelope or unless there appears a statement on the outside or exterior of such envelope to the effect that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.000. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been issued by the Engineer. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount. This project is financed by a Community Development Block Grant and is subject to the rules and regulations thereof. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (12 U.S.C. 1701u). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses and Section 3 residents.
