No award has been made. The project will be awarded on 2/14. Anticipated start date is 4/1/22 and anticipated end date is 9/30/22. In general, the work will include removal of all LAN electronics at all locations, furnishing and installing new LAN equipment at all locations, removal of all wireless LAN electronics at the secondary schools, furnishing and installing new wireless LAN equipment at the secondary schools, configuration, testing, training, and documentations of all new systems. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to Independent School District196, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will promptly execute a satisfactory contract. Each bid must be clearly identified on the outside of the envelope as "ISD 196 Unified Network Access Bid" and shall show the name and address of the bidder. If the bid is sent by mail, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate mailing envelope with the notation "Sealed Bid Enclosed" on the face thereof. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Material and Labor Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount, as well as liability and property insurance as required by the Bidding Requirements before commencing service. The successful bidder shall enter into a formal contract based on the conditions and requirements in the Bidding Requirements and the Bidding Requirements shall be incorporated into the contract. Independent School District196 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and to award a contract in the best interest of the District.
