CITY OF BREMERTON, WASHINGTONFor ON CALL CITYWIDE HAZARDOUS WASTE CLEAN-UP RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: OPENING OF PROPOSALS: The Proposals will be opened and recorded on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at 4:01 pm. The Proposals will be reviewed for accuracy, evaluated and rated by the City Contracts Administrator. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Effective, affordable and professional Hazardous Waste Clean-up is required at an on-call basis at multiple locations. Specialized experience, capability and technical expertise in hazardous material handling, personal property management, and site corrective measures associated with clean-up of homeless encampments, as described in the statement of work. COMPLETION OF WORK: Services agreement to be for up to a two (2) year term in 1-year increments. Work to begin after official execution of the agreement/Proposal award. PROPOSALS: All Proposal proposals must include required forms as stated in the Statement of Qualifications Required Response. City of Bremerton Finance Department 345 6th Street, STE 100 Bremerton, WA 98337 CITY'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The City of Bremerton reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals or to waive any informalities in the Proposal and shall determine which Proposal is the most satisfactory and responsible and shall be the sole judge thereof. No plea of mistake in the Proposal shall be available to the Proposer as a defense to any action based upon the neglect or refusal to execute a contract. The City of Bremerton hereby notifies all Proposers that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit Proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, sexual orientation or national origin in consideration for an award. As of the date of these Proposal documents, Washington State has restrictions including mandates regarding social distancing and worker protection that may have an impact on the execution of this project. The contractor/Proposer understands and acknowledges, by submitting their Proposal, that their Proposal includes project impacts caused by the COVID-19 restrictions current at the time of Proposal submittal, and that no adjustments to the contract price will be allowed because of those restrictions. Proposers are solely responsible for educating themselves regarding all such applicable requirements and for taking current state and federal restrictions into account when preparing their Proposals.
