Renovation of a development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a development.
This Request for Quotation (the 'RFQ') is an invitation by Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (the 'Owner') to prospective qualified contractors to submit a quotation to upgrade the Splash Pad Filter System at the Binbrook Conservation Area (as further described in Appendix D - the RFQ Particulars). The Binbrook Conservation Area is located at 5050 Harrison Road in the City of Hamilton. All work shall be undertaken as described in the specifications and on the drawings to the satisfaction of Burnside & Associates (the 'Engineer') and the Owner. Overall, the scope of work for upgrades to the Binbrook Conservation Area Splash Pad Filter System include: 1) Supply and install the specified filter equipment, process piping, controls, and valves within the treatment building and integrate the new equipment within the existing system's operational footprint. 2) The removal of existing equipment within the treatment room as needed to install the specified equipment. The equipment to be removed may include but is not limited to existing process piping, sand filters, valves, and related mechanical and electrical appurtenances.
