Cost Estimate: $100,000 - $175,000 It is the intention of the scope and specification document to describe an automatic, prefabricated pump station. Design, fabrication, testing and service shall be the sole responsibility of the pump station manufacturer. The pump station shall provide water to the system while simultaneously maintaining a constant discharge pressure by using a prefabricated pump station with variable frequency drive (VFD) pumps for pressure regulation, under varying flow conditions up to the maximum specified capacity. Construction shall be completed no later than September 30, 2022. All bids must be made on the blank Bid Form included herein. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the name of the bidder and addressed to City of Yankton, Attn. Al Viereck, 416 Walnut Street, PO Box 176, Yankton, South Dakota, 57078. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked on the outside lower left corner "FOX RUN GOLF COURSE PUMP STATION BID". Full responsibility for the delivery of mailed bids prior to the deadline for receiving bids rests with the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check for 5% or bid bond for 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Owner. A performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The City also reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as may be determined by the City. No bidder may withdraw a bid until 30 days after the bid opening. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Sealed bids for a Vertical Turbine Variable Speed Prefabricated Pump Station will be received by the City Commission of the City of Yankton for construction at Fox Run Golf Course, Yankton, South Dakota. Bids will be received at the office of the Finance Officer, City of Yankton, 416 Walnut Street, until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in the 2nd Floor Conference Room A in the City Hall, Yankton, South Dakota. Disposition of said bids is expected to be held on the 24th day of January, 2022 at 7:00 P.M., during the City Commissioners meeting at the CMTEA Building, Yankton Community Meeting Room, at 1200 West 21st Street, Yankton, SD.
