Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Tamarac, Florida. Conceptual plans call for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

The scope of the project will include the redesign of fields at Tamarac Park to include removing baseball infield clay, adding sod, replacing light fixtures on existing poles for the athletic fields. The project will also include adding additional lighting for fields, replacing and extending fencing, running track, bleachers, installing a fitness/walking path and the removal of softball scorekeeper stations, dugouts and batting cage. The replacement of the lights and fencing is critical as part of the parks' infrastructure to ensure ongoing usage and enjoyment of the park. Installation of additional lights will increase the playability of the athletic fields. The project will also support Strategic Goal #4, Tamarac is Vibrant, with the installation of the walking path, creating opportunities for enhancement of fitness classes. The project will also strongly support the City's bi-annual certification as a Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
