Description

Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; for the construction of a 3,229-square-foot, one-story above grade service station / car wash facility; and service station / car wash facility.

* WAA has decided to not award this project to any proponent. Scope of work may change & project may be re-tendered. Coverage has been discontinued at this time. Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. (WAA) is soliciting proposals to provide Design-Build services for the New Apron I Non-Passenger Screening-Vehicle (NPS-V) Facility and Cargo Secure Access System (SAS) Project at Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. Design and construction of an approximately 600 sq m 2-lane covered vehicle screening/inspection area, including approximately 300 sq m integrated occupant screening facility and security checkpoint (integrated or remote) including associated utility servicing and civil work. The vehicle screening area shall be designed and constructed to allow for furture expansion of 1 additional vehicle screening lanes.
