Debris Removal along Big Creek as requested by the City of Springville, IA. The work for which bids are asked for includes the following: removal of derecho storm damaged trees and hanging limbs in the vicinity of waterways in the City of Springville, Iowa. Notice of Public Hearing: The City Council of the City of Springville will conduct a public hearing on the request for bids, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the completion of the above-described improvements at the regularly scheduled Council Meeting at 6:00PM on January 3, 2022 at City Hall, located at 304 Broadway Street, Springville, Iowa. Any interested person may appear and file objections to the proposed request for bids or contract. After hearing objections, the City of Springville, shall by resolution, enter its decision on the request for bids and contract. A preliminary bid tabulation will be posted by end of day Friday, January 14, 2022. This will be a preliminary tabulation provided for informational purposes only. The final bid tabulation, with awarded vendor, will be posted after the City has had the opportunity to review all bids. Bids will be evaluated promptly after opening. Bids results will not be given over the telephone or prior to award. Bids may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids; no bid may be modified or withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) calendar days thereafter.
