**As of February 8, 2022, bids was rejected. The City of Prescott, Arizona, Requests Proposals from Arizona licensed Contractors for complete construction services for the Train Trestle Deconstruction. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and assumes no liability for the cost of preparing a response to this request. There is no requirement for a pre-submittal conference. It is highly recommended that prospective proposer visit the site to make themselves fully aware of site conditions. By submitting a proposal the Contractor acknowledges that they have conducted a site investigation to familiarize themselves with site conditions. Q & A Deadline: January 27, 2022 The Contractor will remove in near its entirety the abandoned train trestle at Granite Creek
in the Prescott Airpark general area.
The Contractor will be responsible for construction means and methods. There will be no
limit to the amount of self-performance required by the City.
Article XII - Bonds is deleted from this project. No Payment Bond or Performance Bond
will be required.
The City of Prescott Public Works Department, recognizing that there is monetary and
natural resource value in the wooden poles, beams, rafters, trusses and rock slag material,
is offering the site for complete deconstruction and salvage. The Contractor will have full
salvage rights to all materials to be removed.
The Contractor shall be responsible for mobilizing to the site, deconstructing the trestle in
its entirety, salvaging the materials, hauling the salvaged material offsite, restoring the site
to preconstruction condition, and demobilizing. In performing the service, the Contractor
shall provide all personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the work required in the
