COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool that reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect broader public health. As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement entered into effect on November 15, 2021. The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO). This Standing Offer is for the furnishing of all labour, materials, tools and equipment required to repair or replace refrigeration, air-conditioning, plumbing, Hydronic Heating, Propane, natural gas and ventilation systems at 5 CDSB Gagetown when requested at 5 CDSB Gagetown Base. All work is to be performed in accordance with the Specification No. L-G2-9900-1875 forming part of the bid document. Work will be performed as and when requested, from April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2024. A standing offer is an agreement and not a contract. Offerors should note that there is no guarantee that the full or any amount of the standing offer will be called up. The estimated value for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $1,000,001.00 - $5,000,000.00 (HST included). Bid security is not a requirement for this tender.
