The City of Villa Rica is requesting a qualified bidder for Tree and Limb Removal at Hillcrest Cemetery located on West Bankhead Highway and Hillcrest Drive, Villa Rica, Georgia. This project will include the removal of approximately 46 dead/dying trees and limbing of approximately six trees. Stump Grinding is not required and not allowed. The project will require the removal process to be done in a manner as to not damage or destroy a headstone or gravesite in the area of tree removal/limbing. Contractor must provide their own labor and equipment necessary to complete and fulfill this project. Work area must be cordoned off by a reasonable distance during removal/limbing to insure safety to the public Contractor must be licensed, bonded and have proper insurance for this work, and must have prior experience and competency in removing trees and limbs. Contractor will be responsible for Contractor will be responsible for all cleanup of the wood and debris from this project. This will include the debris from headstones and gravesites, and raking of the area to clear all debris. The City reserves the right to select a contractor directly from the written proposals. The award may be made to the most qualified contractor whose proposal is deed most advantageous to the City, all factors considered. Unsuccessful contractors will be notified as soon as possible. The City reserves the right to negotiate an agreement with the selected contractor based on fair and reasonable compensation for the scope of work and services proposed as well as the right to reject any and all responses deemed unqualified, unsatisfactory, or in appropriate.
