As of March 22, 2022, project was awarded to Colorado Energy Systems, awarded amount is $29,516.99. The purpose of this Request For Proposal (RFP) and accompanying specifications are to provide instructions and assistance in submitting an offer to provide removal of existing generator and replace with a new model year 2022 generator to include removal of current generator, transportation of new to the site and installation as detailed in the SOW for Routt County. The objective is to have a fully executed Routt County Construction Contract by March 1, 2022 with the project completed by October 1, 2022 Site Address: 36400 Transmitter Site Road Steamboat Springs, Colorado Attendance sign in will be required and attendance sign in sheet will be made available to all participants. If needed, an addendum will be issued clarifying any points and/or answering questions that were asked and sent to all Participants of the Non-Mandatory Pre-bid meeting. All questions must be received, in writing, prior to 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time January 28, 2022 and shall be directed only to Routt County Purchasing Agent Julie Kennedy at jkennedy@co.routt.co.us. Answers to questions received that would change and/or clarify this solicitation will be provided in writing, via an addendum to all firms that have received the original RFP after the date for questions has expired. Recommend Award to BCC February 22, 2022 Routt County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) reserves the right to reject any or all proposal responses and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in proposal responses received, and to accept any portion of the proposal response that is deemed to be in the best interest of Routt County. Remove and transport existing generator to a specified storage location with in Routt County. The generator is located on a stand with the propane tank under it. The contractor will be responsible for removal and placement of the generators on the stand that is approximately 12 feet above ground level. An all-terrain crane may be required for this process. Contractors are strongly encouraged to inspect the photos provided before submitting a proposal. RCC will allow the old electrical wiring to be reused if it's deemed adequate and up to code regulations, however additional wiring\conduit will be required for the addition of the surge protection equipment. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to make all necessary connections to the ATS. The generator will be connected to the Cummins Power Command Cloud.
