The City of Oakland (City) Department of Transportation (OakDOT) is soliciting proposals from professional service providers to perform comprehensive engineering design of the proposed bicycle and streetscape project. The project limits include 7 th Street from Mandela Parkway to Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and Gerry Adams Way from Castro Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Proposed improvements include, but not limited to, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure, protected intersections, bus boarding islands, geometric improvements, traffic signal upgrades, signing and striping, lighting investigation and study, pavement engineering, Green Infrastructure, and utility related design if necessary. Questions Due: January 20, 2022 by 2:00 PM by email to the OakDOT Project Manager. It is the Consultant's responsibility to ensure that the email has been received. Any addendum that materially changes the RFP solicitation shall be issued no less than 72 hours before the proposal deadline, unless the deadline is extended by said addendum. Oakland-certified Local Business Requirement: 50% minimum participation. Firms unable to attend a voluntary pre-proposal meeting are encouraged to contact the assigned Contract Compliance Officer to review the City's Local and Small Local Business Enterprise (L/SLBE) program.
