Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Muir, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
As of February 21, 2022, the projec6t has been awarded to Nashville Construction for $1,878,990.11. The Project includes the construction of approximately 5,700' of water main along with associated water services. Road reconstruction will include 2,500 tons of HMA, 12,000 syd of aggregate base, 4,100 cyd of sand subbase, 250' of storm sewer, 9 drainage structures, casting adjustments, concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, ramps, driveways and all related work on Cliff Street from Ionia Street to Liberty Street, Prospect Street from Ionia Street to Plains Street, Garden Street from Liberty Street to Plains Street, and Maple Street (M-21) from Ionia Street to Center Street. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Muir reserves the right to accept any bid, reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village of Muir. The Work will not begin before March 14, 2022 and will be substantially complete on or before September 23, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before October 21, 2022.
