Renovation of a mixed-use development in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

Bids will be received for general construction which includes but is not limited to: Re-plastering of exterior community swimming pool, includes, but it not limited to, removals, concrete restoration, tile work, and replastering of swimming pool shell. This project is funded with a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this contract. All questions must be submitted online through electronically before January 20, 2022, 4 pm. Telephone and written inquiries will not be accepted. Consideration will be given to bids received from qualified bidders that perform quality work for the lowest responsible price. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. New Wilmington Borough will consider awarding a contract for this project at the Borough Council Meeting on Meeting Feb 7, 2022. Bid Security, Section 00 43 43 in the amount of ten percent (10%) All work, identified herein, shall be completed by the selected contractor by May 1st, 2022. New Wilmington Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part of a Bid, and to waive informalities, and to award the Bid in the best interest of organization. No Bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days following the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids.
