This project is located at along NE 17 Street and Cordova Road, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, preparation of a design criteria package for the replacement of approximately 6,400 linear feet of 10- and 12-inch watermain. The selected consultant will prepare 30% design plans and specifications The preliminary drawings and specifications, which describe all major systems, elements, details, components, materials, equipment, and any other information necessary for the design/build (D/B) contractor to develop and finalize the design and construction. Firms shall be in the business of Design Professional Services and must possess sufficient financial support, equipment, and organization to ensure that it can satisfactorily perform the services if awarded a contract. Firms must demonstrate that they, or the principals assigned to the project, have successfully provided services with similar magnitude to those specified in the scope of services to at least one city similar in size and complexity to the City of Fort Lauderdale or can demonstrate they have the experience with large scale private sector clients and the managerial and financial ability to successfully perform the work.
