Site work, new construction and renovation of a fire / police facility in Glasgow, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

This Design/Build Project consists of the construction of a 4,000 square foot maintenance and training facility for the Glasgow Police Department. The building structure will be concrete slabon-grade with concrete spread footings. Exterior walls shall be metal wall panels with an alternate for architectural brick veneer wainscot as outlined in the instructions to bidders. Windows will be aluminum with insulating glass. Egress doors will be painted insulated hollow metal. Bay doors will be insulated, electrically operated overhead doors. Finishes include paint, LVT, ceramic tile alternate, acoustical ceilings. Specialties include cabinet work. The training portion of the building will be heated and cooled. The design is to be determined by the bidding design build contractor. The maintenance portion of the building will be heated and ventilated only as determined by the bidding contractor. Plumbing work shall include but is not limited to restroom fixtures, maintenance bay fixtures including trench drain system and an oil water separator. This design is to be determined by the proposing design build contractor. Electrical work shall include but is not limited to service, light fixtures and switches, receptacles, rough-in for telephone/tv/internet, fire alarm (if required). All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond of not less than 5% of the amount of the total bid. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be required of the successful Bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract. Bids must be submitted, on Bid Form included with the design package. Bid submitted by facsimile will not be accepted.
