Georgia Chemical Usage Separate sealed bids for furnishing chemicals for use at the North Columbus Water Resource Facility (NCWRF), South Columbus Water Resource Facility (SCWRF), Uptown Columbus Combined Sewer Overflow (UPCSO), South Commons Combined Sewer Overflow (SCCSO), and Fort Benning Water Treatment Plant (FBWTP) will be received by the Owner at the offices of Columbus Water Works, 1421 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31901, until 2:00 PM (EST), February 9, 2022, and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud. Chemical usage requirements will be for the period of June 26, 2022 through June 25, 2023. The list of chemical supplies along with the approximate usage and quantities of delivery are as follows: BID ITEM NO. 1: Liquid Chlorine- (305) 1-ton cylinders - delivery on flat bed or open trailer. o NCWRF - River Pump Station - in minimum lots of two (2) cylinders o NCWRF - in minimum lots of twelve (12) cylinders o SCWRF - in minimum lots of ten (10) cylinders BID ITEM NO. 2: Liquid Chlorine - (20) 150lb cylinders/3,000 pounds, FBWTP. BID ITEM NO. 3: Hydrofluosilicic Acid (23% Fluoride) - 51,000 gallons in 4,000 gallon shipments o NCWRF - 40,000 gal o FBWTP - 11,000 gal BID ITEM NO. 4: Sulfur Dioxide- 100 tons, in minimum lots of twelve (12) 1-ton cylinders- delivery on flat bed or open trailer, SCWRF. BID ITEM NO. 5: Liquid Aluminum Sulfate- 1,200 tons, in 4,000 gallon shipments o NCWRF - 1,000 tons o FBWTP - 200 tons BID ITEM NO. 6: Sodium Hypochlorite (15% strength)- 150,000 gallons in 4,000 gallon shipments o SCCSO - 90,000 gal o UPCSO - 60,000 gal BID ITEM NO. 7: Sodium Bisulfite (38% strength)- 75,000 gallons in 2,500 gallon shipments, UPCSO.
