SWACO is seeking Proposals for the purchase and installation of the new 10" ASSE 1013 backflow device with ASSE 1060 Class 1 heated enclosure. Successful Proposer will also be responsible for the preparation work in developing the required plans for submittal to the City of Columbus Water Division. Potential Proposers must schedule a site visit to assess the installation area and obtain any needed measurements. Proposals are to be inclusive of all work necessary to complete the Project. This Project entails the purchase and installation of a new 10" ASSE 1013 backflow device with ASSE 1060 Class 1 heated enclosure to service the existing domestic and fire water supply at the Jackson Pike Transfer Station (JPTS). B. Project Objective. SWACO is seeking Proposals for the purchase and installation of the new 10" ASSE 1013 backflow device with ASSE 1060 Class 1 heated enclosure. Scope of Services. For the purposes of seeking Proposals for the Project, SWACO has developed a Scope of Services, attached hereto as Exhibit A, which may be further developed and refined during the Proposal evaluation process and the negotiation of any contract that may be awarded to the Successful Proposer, if any. The final Scope of Services for the Project may include any, all, or none of the elements as contained in Exhibit A. Proposal Guaranty - A Guaranty is to be provided by the Proposer stating that a Bond can be acquired if the Project is awarded to them, similar to a bid bond. The bond is pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 153.571 in which the bond guarantees the proposed price. The deadline for questions relating to this RFP is extended to 4:00 p.m., February 15, 2022
