Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Design plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Plans call for a $50M, three-phased renovation of the UNI-Dome. Phase I has been completed. Phase 1 ($20M): Renovation plans include replacing the nearly 25-year-old fabric roof, reconstructing the west entrance and concourse, creating new and increased restrooms and providing new and expanded suites. Phase 2 ($16M): Renovation plans include new suites, upgraded restrooms and reseating designed to enhance accessibility and comfort. Phase 3 ($10M): Renovation plans include updates to the sound system, marquee signage and visual identity. As of February 2025, Phase I has been completed. Phase II has been approved, and construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2025. The construction documents completion timeline has not been identified. A firm construction timeline for Phase III has not been disclosed.
