Description

Site work for a fire / police facility in Fort Vermilion, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

The Province is requesting Proposals for the modular construction, delivery, setup and commissioning of a new twenty-one (21) person wet sleeper at Fort Vermilion Fire Base. (a) Provide labour, equipment and materials for the modular construction, delivery, off load units onto piles, setup and commissioning of a twenty-one (21) person wet sleeper. (b) The wet sleeper will be 30' wide x 78' long consisting of twenty-one (21) individual bedrooms and four (4) individual washrooms with two (2) sets of stairs. This building will be comprised of two 15' x 78' modules, complexed together with a gable roof over the entire structure. (c) All aspects of construction on this building must take place in an enclosed, climate controlled facility. All building designs shall be box construction and must be constructed to be relocatable, with not steel skids. Spans and loading must be designed into the floor system. (d) Supply and install utility services (natural gas, electrical, water supply, and sewer lines) from distribution points within the fire base. The Contractor will develop a utility plan and submit to the Province prior to the start of work. (e) Ensure all designs and construction are in accordance with all municipal, provincial and federal codes and standards. (f) Roof and Wall Metal Siding
