C2022-4 Public Side Lead Water Service Replacements I - For furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials, and performing all work necessary for the replacement of approximately 160 public side lead water services in locations throughout the City which includes associated traffic control, street restoration, and terrace restoration. C2022-5 Public Side Lead Water Service Replacements II - For furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials, and performing all work necessary for the replacement of approximately 140 public side lead water services in locations throughout the City which includes associated traffic control, street restoration, and terrace restoration. Quest Project Number 8100836. All bidders shall bid in accordance with contract documents Section 2 Information to Bidders. The above Public Work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contracts on file with the City Clerk. The determination of the lowest responsible and best bid will be decided by the City Engineer, subject to review by the City Council. The Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids. In case the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. If applicable, Federal Davis Bacon wage rates are included in the Contract Documents, as well as on file in the City Clerks Office. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the bid opening.
