Right to Reject Bid The district reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any and all bids submitted in response to this RFP, in whole or in part. Award It is the intent of Lake Fenton Community Schools to award the bid at the district's regularly scheduled Board meeting on Monday, February 14, 2022. The district requires the equipment and services to be delivered and installed by May 1, 2022. Work must be done outside of school hours and should be done so that no rooms are without a working PA speaker during the school day. The district is off for spring break the week of March 28, 2022. Submission of a bid will be construed as a conclusive presumption that the bidder is thoroughly familiar with the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP and agrees to abide by each and all of the stipulations and requirements contained therein. The district reserves the right to waive irregularities and accept or reject whole or partial bids based on criterion determined by the district to be in the best interest of the district. This criterion may include but is not limited to: (a) Real and/or perceived value of the equipment and services being proposed. (b) Ability of the equipment and/or services meeting the Districts stated and/or implied needs. (c) References and/or reputation of the bidder. (d) Stated and/or perceived ability of the bidder to meet the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP Equipment Specifications We are looking to replace all PA speakers and cabling. The existing Rauland TCU PA System should remain in place with additional modules added to support the speakers and zones. The following zones should be created: A Wing - individual zones for each room to allow the paging to be adjusted as room use changes B Wing - 1 zone for the entire hallway except B102 which should have it's own zone C Wing - 1 zone for the entire hallway except the gym which should have it's own zone D Wing - 1 zone for the entire hallway except the gym which should have it's own zone Outdoor speakers - 1 zone for all outdoor speakers We have identified the follow as preferred equipment that will meet the needs of this project.
