Remove all existing painted textured surface and clean surface of existing splashpad's thoroughly removing any surface dirt, stones or other debris. Inspect deck of any cracks and install a polyurethane-based, non-sag elastomeric sealant to fill flush with surface. Install new textured deck coating over existing concrete surface and paint per the specifications, Section 321814 Textured Deck Coating, attached. Medal of Honor Park existing splashpad, see attached drawing SP-100. Paint pattern shall follow existing layout as indicated on existing plan. Three colors are required, submit color samples from standard color chart for Owner to select. Include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for complete improvements as outlined in this RFQ document. However, if no representative can be present in person, the Quoter shall contact the Project Manager at 251-208-7635, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, in order to coordinate attendance of the meeting by conference call. Quoters are required to participate in the Pre-Quote Conference, visit the site prior to submitting a Quote, and include all costs associated with the project in their Quotes. This project is tax exempt. A Cashier's Check drawn on an Alabama bank or Bid Bond payable to Owner, City of Mobile, in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 is required to accompany Bid. For contracts that exceed $50,000.00, a Bid Bond (or Bid Security), Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond shall be required.
