Site work for a water / sewer project in Gila Bend, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
An existing 8-inch sewer line that runs along the south right-of-way line of Papago Street currently crosses two washes above-ground on piers. This federally funded project consists of the reconstruction of existing sewer lines crossing washes at two (2) locations along the south side of Papago Street between Washington Street and Cholla Avenue, for a total length of approximately 260 feet. The major items of work include the following construction items: 1. New 8-inch Ductile Iron Pipe and Fittings 2. Construct Pier Supports 3. Trench Excavation, Backfill and Compaction 4. Bypass Pumping to Maintain Existing Sewer Flow 5. Miscellaneous Grading And any and all other associated contingent and miscellaneous items of work to complete the proposed improvements to restore existing sewer service to pre-flood conditions or better in the Town of Gila Bend, including engineering analysis to verify adequate scour depth and structural capacity of new concrete piers to obtain the required Maricopa County floodplain use permit and Town right-of-way permit. The deadline for questions from bidders shall be 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2022. A final addendum, if needed, will be issued on Monday, January 24, 2022.
