This project involves installing 1,100 LF of 12-inch DIP water main and associated appurtenances via open cut in the shoulder of South Beckford Drive (SR 1165). The purpose of this project is to connect two existing sections of water main along South Beckford Drive. The construction area will be approximately between Radio Lane and Franklin Place along South Beckford Drive. All Bidders questions and/or clarifications must be submitted in writing no later than 5:00 pm, local time on ___January 31, 2022___. Bidders questions and/or clarification received after this date will not receive a response. If warranted Bidders questions and/or clarifications may be answered by Addenda. The bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and material as specified and all equipment entering into the construction of the South Beckford Drive Water Main Extension, associated appurtenances, and all other related work as shown on the Contract Documents. Each bid must be made on the blank forms provided with the bound copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS and must be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope and addressed to Christy Lipscomb, Henderson, North Carolina. Each envelope should be clearly marked on the outside "BID ENCLOSED, South Beckford Drive Water Main Extension", with the name, address and general contractor license number of the bidder.
