Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Vista, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
During the master planning process for Civic Center Park, there was discussion regarding another access into the park from Park View Blvd. Currently, the only way to reach the fire access road in the park that serves the north end of the City Centre development and will serve the proposed music venue in the future, is through Central Park. Additionally, discussion has now taken place regarding the location of a new swimming pool in Central Park. Funding is included in FY22 for design work with construction funds in FY23. It is anticipated the new access would be at the current location of Flagpole Park, approximately Lillian Avenue and Park View Blvd. This project is in included in the City of La Vista's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 05, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
