PROPOSAL: Water Meter Replacement City of Patterson LICENSE NO. -------------- Failure to have the license number on the envelope will be cause for not opening the proposal. Work on which written bids are invited consists of furnishing and installing advanced technology drive-by read water meters and a dual read data collection system (capable of centrally collecting data from both water meters and gas meters in a drive-by fashion). Proposers are expected to provide the labor necessary for standard installation of both meters and the data collection system and to provide adequate instruction to the City's Utility Department to operate and maintain same. Proposals must be submitted on the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form furnished with the contract documents. Proposal sheets will be issued only to contractors and/or subcontractors licensed in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 37:2150 through 2173 of the Louisiana Legislature. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit to the Engineer evidence that they hold license for MUNICIPAL AND PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION that is in full force and effect. Bid Security: Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Depart-ment of Treasury Circular 570. Electronic bidders shall ensure that their certified check, cashier's check or bid bond is received by the City prior to bid opening in a sealed envelope at the city's address provided below, properly marked and identified, including License Number, as: PROPOSAL GUARANTY Water Meter Replacement, City of Patterson. Bid will be considered responsive if it conforms in all respects with the conditions and requirements of the Bidding Documents.
