Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Clintonville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

The teleconference line will be open 15 minutes before bids are due. Bids will be opened after the bid deadline. No inperson attendance at the bid opening will be possible. In general, the project consists of demolishing the building with general site address of 19 South Main Street in Clintonville, Wisconsin. This includes demolition of asbestos and lead based paint containing material; demolishing a three-story building, with a footprint of approximately 9,000 square feet. Proper disposal of commingled asbestos and lead containing demolition debris, abatement of features to remain in place; and provide services for utility abandonment are required. The project site is owned by the City of Clintonville and funded in part by a grant from the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The Contract shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to municipal wage scales and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. Prequalification of Bidders will be required. A single prime bid will be received for the work. BID SECURITY Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. PROJECT FUNDING This project is funded in part by the U.S Dept. of Housing and Urban Development - Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The project will be subject to requirements contained in applicable state and federal regulations, including the requirements for Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109, Executive Order 11246. The Contract shall be subject to Wis. Stats. 66.0903 pertaining to Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. QUALIFICATIONS Any interested contractors shall attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting, meet prequalification requirements outlined in the Instructions to Bidders, and be approved by Owner prior to submitting a bid. Bidders shall prequalify by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility to the Owner in accordance with Wis. Stat. 66.0901(2).
