**As of March 9, 2022, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $198,903.61** The work under the project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 120 linear feet of twenty-four-inch (24") and approximately 23 linear feet of six-inch (6") ductile iron pipe, along Homer Street within the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills. The scope of work includes the tie-in connection to the existing water mains and sampling pipes, along with the installation of valves, fire hydrants, site restoration, paving, and related appurtenances. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 120 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00, must be deposited by the bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract. The successful bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of the responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. In lieu of a Certificate of Surety, the bidder may submit, at the bid opening, a certified check or cashier's check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township. The Township further reserves the right to consider all bids for sixty (60) days after the bid opening before awarding a contract.
