Brenham ISD is issuing this Request For Proposals (RFP) for upgrades to the Brenham Middle School Network. Proposals should include pricing for the following items. If a purchasing contract is used for pricing, please indicate that contract in the proposal.Wireless Access Points (WAPS) 1.1 Multigigabit Ethernet Port 1x1000/2.5G or 1x1000/2.5/5G.1.2 802.11ax support 1.3 Coverage for both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz spectrum. 1.4 Minimum 4 radios per access point.1.5 Ceiling and wall mounting.1.6 Power over Ethernet 802.3at.1.7 Support Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) and Beamforming.1.8 Support for 4x4 or 8x8 MIMO or SU-MIMO.1.9 LACP (Link Aggregation) if WAP has multiple ports.1.10 Prefer WAPS to be cloud managed.1.11 Support MAC Address radius authentication.1.12 Medium Density WAP is mainly used in the classroom to support up to ninety (90) devices in a 900sf room with thirty (30) students. Example: Meraki MR46 or equivalent.1.13 High Density WAP used in gathering areas (gym, cafeteria, auditorium) to support 300 devices per WAP. Example: Meraki MR56 or equivalent.1.14 If required five (5) year cloud management license.Quantities 54 - Medium Density AP. 8 - High Density AP.Access Level Network Switches 2.1 All switches must be forty-eight (48) copper ports. 2.2 All switches must have 4x10Gb SFP+ uplinks. 2.3 All switches should have multi-gig ports. 2.4 All switches must POE+ or POE++ with a minimum of 740w available. 2.5 All Switches should have physical stacking cards and cables. 2.6 Switches and can be cloud managed. 2.7 No extended warranty required. 2.8 Five (5) year cloud license management, if required. 2.9 Example Switches: Cisco C9200L-48PXG-4X or Meraki MS355-48X or equivalent. 2.10 Example Stacking: C920L-STACK-KIT=.Quantities 12 - Forty-eight (48) port Multi-Gig POE+ or POE++ with 4x10Gb SFP+uplinks, 740w minimum power for POE with stacking cables and modules.3 - SM-LR 10Gb SFP+.Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)3.1 All UPSs to must have networking monitoring capabilities. 3.2 All UPSs must be 120v single-phase. 3.3 No extended warranty required. 3.4 Example: APC SRT2200RMXLA-NC or Tripp Lite SMART2200RM2UN or equivalent. Quantities 2 - 2200 VA UPS with network management cards.1 - 1500 VA UPS with network management cards. Purchase contingent upon:Equipment will only be purchased if ERate funding is approved by USAC.Discounted Billing: Service provider must be willing to file FCC Form 474 (Service Provider Invoice) for discounted portion of equipment.
