Contract Number: D12-12017384 WBS Number: 12RE.102333, 12RE.103633 County: Cleveland & Gaston Route No.: I-85 & Various Routes Description: Sweeping, Large Debris Removal & Drainage Structure Clean-out, Upon Request. The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for tree and brush cutting and removal type work in Gaston County. The Contractor is to furnish labor, material, equipment and traffic control: Potential Bidders must be prequalified as a Bidder or P.O. Prime Contractor at the time of bid opening in order to be considered responsible. Paper Bids will be accepted as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders contained in the Proposal. Electronic Bidding will not be accepted. Bid Bonds are not required. The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions ofTitle VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department ofTransportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin.
