The major work items include: removal and placement of curb, gutter, sidewalk, pedestrian ramps and driveways, storm drain improvements, mill and overlay, roadbed modification, bituminous plantmix, utility adjustments, street lighting, signal modifications, and placement of permanent pavement markings and signs. Prospective Bidders must be Contractors presently licensed under the Nevada State Law for the type of work specified herein. Prevailing wage rates for Washoe County shall be posted on the work site and paid to all classifications of labor as required by the laws of the State of Nevada. The work to be performed under this Contract shall be commenced by the successful Bidder after the executed Contract Documents have been submitted, and within five (5) calendar days of the commencement date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. The work, including any and all alternates and options, shall be completed within seventy-five (75) working days after the commencement date set forth in the Notice to Proceed. The right is reserved to reject any and all Bids or accept the Bid that is deemed by the RTC to be in the best interest of the RTC. The RTC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all alternates or options or any combination thereof.
