Water Treatment Plant Actuator Valve Replacements The Town of Needham (hereinafter referred to as the "Town"), acting through its Town Manager, invites highly qualified bidders to submit sealed bids to perform all labor necessary for Filter Drain Valve Actuators Replacement. It is anticipated that work will commence February 1st, 2022. It is anticipated that all work will be substantially complete by June 30th, 2022 and will be operational on or before July 1st, 2022. The Town of Needham is seeking a qualified vendor to remove (4) existing 4" filter drain valve actuators and to replace them with an updated version Model # SQ05.2 AUMA part-turn electric motor valve actuators at the Charles River Water Treatment Facility. The original drain valve actuators are 20 plus years old past its useful life expectancy. The existing wiring will be disconnected prior to removal and rewired up to the new equipment.
