Quotations will only be accepted from General Contractors who have been prequalified as per the Board's Request for Supplier Qualifications #12-17 General Contractors. The prequalified General Contractors are required to carry Board's approved prequalified Roofing Contractors as subcontractors for the project. This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Building Envelope Renewal and Roof Replacement at Rideau Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The scope of work includes for the removal and replacement of the west elevation EIFS cladding with new foundation and brick veneer. The building envelope renewal includes replacement of all existing doors and windows on the facing elevation with new aluminum doors, frames and windows and one hollow metal door and frame. In addition, the project also includes the replacement of existing BUR roofing with new modified bituminous membrane roofing and the removal of existing flashing on Roof Areas B, C, E and F. Finally, the project includes the replacement of existing ceilings in several locations on the second floor of the wing to facilitate the installation of roof drains.
